Every plot submitted to us is reviewed against our qualification criteria (cahier des charges), starting with the document that comes with it.
Without a document to present, the review cannot start. Any dispute, even within the family, should be reported from the outset.
Before going further, Capital Foncier reviews every plot against the same criteria. Here is what we check and what you need to gather.
Your Documents Are Ready
At a minimum, your ID and the document you present as your property title, as copies.
The Plot Is Located
A GPS point taken on site and at least four photos, including the boundaries and the access.
You Can Be Reached
A phone number where you can be reached, and your written consent for us to review the plot.
Items 1, 2, 8 and 9 are needed to start; the others can follow during the review.
On the plot, we record the access, the occupation, the visible boundary markers and what the neighbours say about it. We note what we see, including anything that weakens the file.
